Jeff Ganohalidoh Corntassel

Jeff Ganohalidoh Corntassel is a Professor of Indigenous Studies at the University of Victoria. His research focuses on Indigenous internationalism, community resurgence, climate justice, and gender-based resurgence. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Arizona (1998).

Corntassel’s work bridges academia and grassroots initiatives, collaborating with Indigenous-led programs such as food sovereignty projects, land-based renewal, and homeland protection. He co-leads a 7-year SSHRC partnership grant on '21st Century Borders' as Co-PI, focusing on Indigenous Internationalism and self-determination.
