Jeff Frolik is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Vermont. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.S. from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. from the University of South Alabama. His research focuses on wireless communications, sensor networks, and distributed control algorithms, with applications in environmental monitoring, energy systems, and infrastructure health. Frolik has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications, secured 12 patents, and co-founded Packetized Energy, a cleantech startup acquired by EnergyHub in 2021.
