Dr. Jeff Derevensky is a James McGill Professor at McGill University, holding dual appointments in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology and the Department of Psychiatry. He serves as Director of the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-risk Behaviours and Co-Director of the Institute for Human Development and Well-Being (IHDW). His research focuses on child and adolescent high-risk behaviors, particularly gambling and behavioral addictions. He has advised legislative bodies internationally and contributed to social policy reforms.
