Jeff Broome is a Professor of Art Education and Director of the PhD Program in the Department of Art Education at Florida State University (FSU). His research focuses on practical solutions for K-12 art teachers, employing narrative inquiry to address topics like multi-age instruction, classroom management, and caring pedagogies. He has presented globally and held leadership roles in the National Art Education Association (NAEA) and Florida Art Education Association (FAEA). Broome has authored/co-authored multiple books and journal articles, including the 2023 volume Real Lives Now. Notable awards include the 2020 NAEA Southeastern Higher Education Art Educator Award and 2016 FAEA Higher Education Educator of the Year honor.
