Jeff Brasher

Jeff Brasher serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Nonprofit Administration & Research, College of Arts and Sciences, at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS). Concurrently, he holds the position of Scout Executive/CEO for the Norwela Council of Scouting America in Shreveport, bringing over 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience across multiple Scouting councils in Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia.

His career spans banking, wholesale food industries, and extensive Scouting leadership roles where he developed practical frameworks for volunteer mobilization, ethical governance, and program development. His teaching integrates real-world nonprofit management challenges with academic theory, emphasizing operational sustainability and stakeholder engagement in community organizations.
