Jeff Babb is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Winnipeg. He has held academic roles since 2000, including serving as Department Chair from 2004-2009. Prior to his academic career, Babb worked as a Biometrician at the Canadian Grain Commission for 16 years and as a Principal Consultant for the University of Manitoba’s Statistical Advisory Service. His expertise spans statistical climatology, anthropology, spatial statistics, and multivariate analysis, with notable contributions to Mesolithic burial chronology and paleoclimatic studies.
