Jeannette Chin is an Associate Professor in Computing Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA), part of the School of Computing Sciences. She specializes in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), ubiquitous computing, and End User Programming (EUP) systems for smart environments and IoT. Her work integrates interdisciplinary approaches from social science and psychology, with a focus on interfaces sensitive to human needs. Dr. Chin holds Senior Fellowship of AdvanceHE and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society.

Labs & Teams: Member of Cyber Intelligence and Networks, Data Science & AI, and Visual Computing & Signal Processing groups. Leads editorial roles for Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments and IET Smart Cities Journal.
