Dr. Jeannette Böttcher serves as a Studienratin im Hochschuldienst at the University of Paderborn within the Faculty of Cultural Studies, specifically in the Institute for English and American Studies. She is affiliated with Didactics - Prof. Rumlich's Department and actively contributes to the English Drama Group UPB.
Her research interests focus on English language pedagogy and didactics, with specialization in translation studies, intercultural communication, and teaching literature and culture. She has developed expertise in primary school English education methodology and classroom practice.
Dr. Böttcher maintains an active teaching schedule with regular course offerings across multiple semesters, including courses on teaching language, literature/culture, English in primary school settings, and lesson planning. She provides supervision for practical semesters and self-organized internships.
