Jeanne E. Pemberton is a Regents Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Arizona, affiliated with the College of Chemistry and Biochemistry. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and dual undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Delaware.
Her research focuses on the Chemistry of Organic Semiconductors and their Interfaces in Molecular Electronic & Photonic Devices. Key interests include interfacial chemistry, surface processes, and the development of advanced measurement tools to study these phenomena. Her work bridges Energy Science, Materials Chemistry, and Spectroscopy, addressing challenges in device performance and molecular-level understanding.
Dr. Pemberton is currently accepting students and contributes to the university’s research initiatives in Analytical and Physical Chemistry. Her laboratory explores applications in organic semiconductor-based technologies, emphasizing molecular-level interactions critical to modern electronic and photonic systems.
