معرفی
Jean-René Hamon is a CNRS Research Director affiliated with University of Rennes in France. His research focuses on organometallic chemistry and materials science with applications in optoelectronics and molecular electronics.
Education:
- 1979: D.E.A. in Organic Chemistry, Rennes
- 1982: Ph.D., University of Rennes 1 (supervised by Prof. D. Astruc)
- 1983: NATO Postdoctoral Fellow at University of California, Berkeley (with K. N. Raymond)
Research Interests: Dr. Hamon specializes in Organometallic-inorganic hybrid materials toward opto-electronics and Organometallic molecular electronics. His work bridges chemistry, materials science, and electronic device development, with particular focus on creating novel materials for optoelectronic applications and molecular-scale electronic components.
Professional Experience: Dr. Hamon has had a long career at CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), progressing from Attaché de Recherche (1981), to Chargé de Recherche (1983), and ultimately to Directeur de Recherche (1995), which is the highest permanent research position at CNRS. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at P. Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile on multiple occasions (December 1993, June 2004, June 2008).
Collaborations: Dr. Hamon maintains active research collaborations with several institutions:
- Profs. C. Manzur and D. Carrillo at P. Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile
- Prof. J.-Y. Saillard and Dr. S. Kahlal at University of Rennes 1, France (focusing on theoretical investigations)
- Prof. I. Ledoux-Rak at ENS Cachan, France (specializing in nonlinear optics)
- Dr. C. Lapinte at University of Rennes 1, France
