Jean-Paul GAUBERT

Jean-Paul Gaubert is a Full Professor at the University of Poitiers, affiliated with the Poitiers University Institute of Technology and the Laboratory of Computer Science and Automatic Control for Systems (LIAS) since September 2013. His research focuses on power electronics systems, renewable energy integration, and advanced control methodologies.

Research areas include:

• Modeling and control of energy conversion systems
• Interfacing architectures for renewable energy production/storage
• Optimal micro-grid management
• Energy quality evaluation and optimization
• Real-time implementation of control algorithms

He leads the LIAS micro-network platform developed under the FEDER/CPER 2014-2022 project, featuring pilot units and power electronics structures for real-time control implementation. His industrial collaborations span research contracts, CIFRE agreements, and patent development.

Recent publications (2018-2024) demonstrate consistent focus on renewable energy systems optimization, particularly photovoltaic integration, micro-grid control, and power converter efficiency improvements using advanced computational methods.
