Jean Parker

Dr Jean Parker is a Researcher in the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education at the University of Newcastle, focusing on the political economy of higher education, neoliberalism, and social inequality. She holds a PhD from the University of Technology Sydney (2013) and has held postdoctoral roles at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University. Her work addresses gender-based violence in education, policy responses to economic crises, and financialisation's societal impacts.
