Jean-Marie Aerts is a full professor and department chair at the Department of Biosystems within the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering at KU Leuven. He serves as chairman of the Leuven Center for Medical Technology and division head of Bio-Environmental Control and BioAsyst Division. Active member of multiple institutes including DigiSoc – KU Leuven Institute for Digital Society, iSi Health, and Leuven One Health.
