Jean-Louis Pare is an Associate Professor at ESCP Business School's Department of Financial Reporting & Audit, based in Paris. He has been at ESCP since 2017, following roles as Scientific Director of the MS in Entrepreneurial Finance at Novancia Business School (2005-2022) and General Director of CFVG in Vietnam (2012-2021). His research focuses on entrepreneurial finance, SME valuation, and financing strategies for high-growth firms.
Education includes a PhD in Management, degrees in Economics and Management from IEP de Paris and Institut de Droit des Affaires, and credentials as a graduate actuary (IAF), CFA charterholder, and member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles.
Prior to academia, he worked in financial roles at firms like BNP Equities and Enskilda Securities. Under his leadership, CFVG achieved EFMD accreditation for its master's programmes. His teaching emphasizes practical financial analysis and investment strategies.
