Jean Densmore John

Dr. Jean Densmore John is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a faculty member at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in depth psychology and an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is also a Licensed Registered Dietitian, integrative health nutritionist, and dance/movement therapist with over 40 years of experience.

Jean integrates depth psychology with nutrition and somatic practices, focusing on the unconscious, dreams, and holistic health. Her work bridges therapeutic modalities like yoga for stress management, art therapy, and eco-psychology, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to mental and physical well-being.

She has trained nationally and internationally and is based in Santa Barbara, CA, where she has practiced for 35 years. Her current roles include private practice and teaching at Pacifica Graduate Institute, emphasizing integrative therapies.
