Jay S. Berger, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Director of the Integration Course at Montefiore Einstein. He holds dual roles as Course Director of the Integration Course at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an attending physician at Montefiore Medical Center. His expertise spans critical care medicine, perioperative care, and anesthesiology, with a focus on mechanical ventilation, solid organ transplantation, and ICU management during the pandemic.
- Education: MD/PhD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (2003), Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (2008), pursuing a Master’s in Health Professions Education at University of Rochester.
