Jay Hyun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing, Business Economics & Law (MBEL) at the University of Alberta's Alberta School of Business. His research focuses on International Economics, Macroeconomics, Corporate Finance, and International Business, emphasizing shock propagation mechanisms, global supply chains, and firm-level dynamics. He holds a PhD and MA in Economics from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from Seoul National University (Summa Cum Laude, Presidential Award).
