Professor Javier Tafur serves as Dean of Madrid Campus at ESCP Business School and a member of its European Executive Committee. He leads strategic development, digital transformation, and growth initiatives. As a Full Faculty member in the Department of Management since 2014, he teaches Strategy at Masters and Executive Education levels, including custom programs for multinational firms. His academic career began in 2005 at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and ETS Ingenieros Aeronáuticos, where he earned accolades for teaching excellence. His research focuses on Strategy, Technology Innovation, and Business Transformation, complemented by a PhD in Innovation Management, MBA from IE Business School, and Harvard Postdoc. He previously held executive roles at Detecon International and Deutsche Telekom AG. Key achievements under his leadership include Madrid Campus' record growth, highest EBIT, and pandemic resilience through blended learning.
