Javier Rivas Ruiz

Dr. Javier Rivas Ruiz is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Bath. He holds a PhD and MSc in Economics from the European University Institute and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Mathematics. His research focuses on economic theory, particularly game theory applications in public economics and political economy. Current projects examine political finance, voting behavior, and evolutionary game dynamics.

Research spans microeconomic theory, game theory, political economy, and health economics with emphasis on voting systems and policy design.
