Javier Barria

Dr. Javier Barria is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. His research applies distributed algorithms to networked systems with applications in transportation and power grids.

Research Focus: Develops network monitoring strategies, anomaly detection systems, and signal processing techniques for intelligent transportation and power systems. Recent work includes wavelet-based neural networks for time-series analysis and deep contrastive anomaly detection.
