Dr. Jatin H. Joshi is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University, and an Assistant Attending Anesthesiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He serves as Director of Quality and Patient Safety and Director of Pain Education in the Division of Pain Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. His clinical expertise focuses on chronic and acute pain management, including spinal interventions, peripheral/spinal cord stimulation, and minimally invasive procedures for musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain.
Dr. Joshi earned his B.S. in Public Health (2001) and M.D. (2006) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Distinguished Medical Scholar. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and a pain medicine fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine/Hospital for Special Surgery/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
His research emphasizes innovative pain therapies and quality improvement in pain care. He has published articles on sciatica management and collaborative care models, reflecting his commitment to advancing patient outcomes through interdisciplinary approaches.
