Jathan (Jay) Innerarity is an Associate Professor of Theatre at Lycoming College, where he contributes significantly to the Department of Theatre within the College of Arts and Sciences. He is a scenic designer, artist, and educator known for integrating fine art and collaborative sculpture into stage design. Raised in eastern Texas, he brings diverse life experience, including military service in the U.S. Army, to his pedagogy.

Professor Innerarity specializes in scenic and lighting design, with a creative philosophy that views stage design as living sculpture.
