Dr. Jason Tuck is a Senior Lecturer in the Sociology of Sport at the University of Winchester, with over 20 years of teaching experience. He currently serves as Student Experience Lead for the BSc (Hons) Sport Management programme. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Sports Studies (Roehampton Institute), MA in Sociology of Sport (Leicester University, Distinction), and PhD in Sociology of Sport (Loughborough University, 1999).
His research focuses on sport and national identity, globalization, media analysis, and figurational sociology, with a particular emphasis on rugby union, cricket, track cycling, football, and golf. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Irish Journal of Sociology and International Review for the Sociology of Sport.
