Dr. Jason A. Talaei is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Information Systems at the University of Nevada, Reno's College of Business. He joined UNR in 2016 and has led the development of innovative programs, including a PhD in Business Administration with an Information Systems concentration and a 4+1 accelerated master's program. Previously, he held faculty positions at the University of the Sunshine Coast and the University of Technology Sydney.

He served as Interim Associate Dean of the School of Social Work at UNR from 2022–2023 and is renowned for bridging academia with industry to advance technology commercialization and cross-sector engagement.
