Research interests emphasize the intersection of dispositions, virtues, and neural mechanisms, particularly using smartphone-based interventions and real-time data collection. Recent work addresses posttraumatic growth in addiction recovery, compassion’s role in pro-social behavior, and theoretical models of memory consolidation. He actively develops smartphone tools for mental health and moral virtue cultivation.
His articles span neurophilosophical debates on free will, cognitive science of memory, and applied psychological interventions using technology. Collaborations bridge empirical research with ethical and theological frameworks.
Teaching and advising focus on integrating behavioral sciences with philosophical inquiry. He advocates for technology’s role in promoting self-awareness and ethical decision-making.
