Jason Ross is an Associate Dean for Online Operations at Liberty University's Helms School of Government. His academic career includes prior roles as senior academic officer at George Mason University’s Institute for Humane Studies, Ashland University’s Ashbrook Center, and the Bill of Rights Institute. He also taught at Pepperdine University’s Washington DC Program and serves on the Pepperdine Beacon’s advisory board.
His research focuses on Intellectual History, Political Science, and Political Theory, with published work in journals like American Political Thought and Law and Liberty. Ross has presented at conferences organized by the American Political Science Association and other scholarly organizations, and has reviewed grants for the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Recent publications analyze topics ranging from Founding Era political compromises to antislavery activism, reflecting his expertise in historical political thought and institutional dynamics. He combines academic research with administrative leadership in online education initiatives.
