Jason L. Hicks

Jason L. Hicks is the Dean and Professor of the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University, leading one of the largest and most diverse colleges on campus. Since assuming his role in July 2022, he has focused on strategic priorities such as fostering inclusivity, elevating research, supporting professional development, and enhancing student success.

Research Expertise:
Dr. Hicks is an international scholar specializing in human memory distortion, memory for intentions (prospective memory), memory for the source of learned information, and memory retrieval control. His work has been published in journals like Memory & Cognition, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition, and Journal of Memory and Language.
