Jason H. Mezey is a Professor and Chair of the Department of English, Writing, and Journalism at Saint Joseph’s University. His academic background includes a BA from Swarthmore College (1993), MA from The Ohio State University (1995), and PhD from The University of Iowa (2001). His research focuses on postcolonial literature, Anglophone Indian fiction, and psychoanalytic approaches to narrative. He has been recognized with multiple teaching and advising awards, including the 2014 Faculty Merit Advising Award and 2007 Teaching Award.
Research interests span Anglophone Indian fiction, postcolonial theory, contemporary British literature, and the intersection of literature with psychoanalysis.
