Jason Fisette

Jason Fisette is an Associate Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Philosophy at the University of Nevada, Reno. He specializes in ethical, metaphysical and political philosophy of early modern thinkers, particularly David Hume and Immanuel Kant.

Research Focus: Fisette's scholarship offers reinterpretations of Hume's metaethical positions, arguing for a quietist reading that avoids traditional realism/anti-realism debates. His recent Kantian work develops novel frameworks for addressing historical injustices.
