Dr. Jason Crow is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Monash University and a licensed architect in Pennsylvania. He holds a PhD in History & Theory of Architecture from McGill University, where he also served as founding CTO of the Facility for Architectural Research in Media and Mediation (FARMM). His research focuses on technological impacts on material ontology and craft knowledge, blending medieval architectural history with modern digital practices.

Research interests include medieval architectural history, digital craft, and the intersection of theology/science with material practices. Recent projects include the Warracknabeal Creative Circuit (a regional makerspace) and decarbonizing building practices in Asia. He has supervised graduate researchers such as Mehdi Taheri and Darcy Zelenko.
Grants include leadership roles in the 'Decarbonising Buildings in Asia' initiative and the 'Building Better Buildings' design innovation project. He co-founded the Monash Urban Lab and actively engages in architectural pedagogy reform through workshops like LISTEN: Indigenising Architectural Curricula.
