Jason Connor

Jason Connor is a Professor and Director of the National Centre for Youth Substance Use Research at The University of Queensland (since 2008-2014, 2017+). A clinical psychologist by training and Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, he combines academic leadership with clinical practice. His work focuses on substance use disorders, including treatment, genetic markers of dependence, and youth prevention. With over $14 million in research funding, he leads projects addressing opioid harm reduction, cannabis use patterns, and digital interventions.
