Dr. Jason Cain is an Adjunct Associate Professor (Research) at Hudson Institute of Medical Research's Centre for Cancer Research, leading the Developmental and Cancer Biology research group and the Sarcoma Program. He specializes in developmental biology and pediatric cancers, focusing on embryonic signaling pathways (e.g., Hedgehog) and epigenetic mechanisms in diseases like sarcomas, pediatric brain tumors (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), and lung cancer. He completed his PhD in Anatomy and Cell Biology at Monash University (2006) and postdoctoral training at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
