Jason Booza is an Assistant Professor (Full Time) at Wayne State University School of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Academic and Student Programs. He holds adjunct positions in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences and the Department of Urban Studies & Planning. With over 12 years of experience, he specializes in applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to social issues such as racial segregation, poverty, immigration, and health/environmental disparities.

Dr. Booza teaches courses on GIS and serves as Course Director for the Medical Education/Evaluation Committee (ME2) Co-Curricular Program. His research bridges geospatial analysis with public health and urban studies, addressing systemic inequities through spatial data modeling.
