Jason B. Peake is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education & Communication at the University of Georgia (UGA). He serves as a program leader for Agricultural Education and has been with UGA since 2004. Dr. Peake is recognized as a national thought leader in elementary agricultural education, influencing research, policy, and curriculum development.

- M.A. in Computer Education Technology/Instructional Design Systems from University of Central Florida (2000)
- B.S. in Agricultural Education from University of Kentucky (1996)
His research focuses on agricultural literacy, teacher training, and technology integration in education. He has secured over $11 million in grants from USDA-NIFA, NSF, and private organizations to support initiatives in professional development and sustainability. Dr. Peake has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and delivered 75+ conference presentations.
Dr. Peake has received multiple awards, including the National Association for Agricultural Education Region V Outstanding Postsecondary Program (2024), UGA Teaching Academy membership (2022), and the American Association for Agricultural Education Fellow (2018). He has also been repeatedly acknowledged by the UGA Career Center for his impact on undergraduate career guidance.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Peake has taught 23 courses at UGA, developed the Elementary Agricultural Education minor, and pioneered online teacher preparation programs. He has advised 238 undergraduate majors with a 98% graduation rate and 99% job placement, and served as major professor for 41 graduate students.
