Jason Allison is a Part-Time Lecturer in French Horn within the Department of Music at the University of Pittsburgh's Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. He maintains an active dual career as performer and educator across multiple institutions.
Professional Affiliations: In addition to his role at Pitt, Mr. Allison holds teaching positions at Seton Hill University, Washington and Jefferson College, and Chatham University. During summers, he serves as horn faculty at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival.
Performance Background: As an orchestral musician, Allison performs with the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra and Pittsburgh's River City Brass. He regularly appears with Pittsburgh Opera, Ballet, and Civic Light Opera orchestras, and has substituted with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. His regional engagements extend to Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
