Dr. Jason A. Neidleman is a Professor of Political Science at the University of La Verne’s La Verne Academy College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a B.A. from UCLA (1992), M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University (1995, 1999). His research focuses on modern political theory, particularly the works of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the Enlightenment, and French political thought. He has authored/co-edited major works like *Rousseau’s Ethics of Truth* (2017) and *Frameworks of Time in Rousseau* (2023). His current research examines Rousseau’s ideas on democratic political culture. He has also contributed to institutional history projects at the University of La Verne. His teaching interests include political theory, constitutional law, and Middle Eastern politics.
