Jasna Horvat is a Full Professor of Quantitative Economics at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, part of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University. She holds a permanent academic position and has expertise in social, humanities, and interdisciplinary sciences. Her research spans statistical analysis, market research, and creative industry projects.
She leads initiatives like the Creative Treasury symposium and the Vilijun project (fostering Croatia-China cultural ties), and founded Andizeta Institute for Scientific and Artistic Research. Her literary works serve as teaching materials and have garnered international acclaim, including participation in literary events in China, the U.S., and Europe.
- Key Projects: Led the CATI Center for data analysis, managed the Creative Treasury project, and advised bilateral cooperation via Vilijun.
- Awards: Recognized for literature (2010, 2011), science popularization (2016), and contributions to higher education (2021).
Her murals in Glagolitic script adorn the Faculty of Economics, marking one of the largest interior uses of this cultural symbol. She also contributed to national branding efforts as a member of President Grabar-Kitarović’s working group (2018–2019).
