Jasmine Smith

Jasmine Smith is an Adjunct Faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D) with a background in Art Education. She currently resides in Royersford, PA, and holds internships at the Demuth Foundation and Lancaster Creative Factory.

Education:

• Millersville University: BSE in Art Education, Minor in Psychology

Smith's professional focus lies in Art Education and Ceramics. She exhibits her artwork and conducts workshops on wheel-throwing and hand-building at the Lancaster Creative Factory. Her collaborative efforts with local organizations aim to broaden access to the arts and museum participation.

As a Classroom Assistant for PCA&D's Center for Creative Exploration, Smith mentors young artists. She also maintains the ceramics studio and facilitates student learning in ceramic techniques.

Smith is an integral part of the Lancaster Creative Factory's ceramics team and partners with the Demuth Foundation to enhance community engagement in the arts.
