Jasmina Lazendic-Galloway is a researcher and Project Manager at Eindhoven University of Technology's Department of Electrical Engineering and Radio Science Lab. She leads the Radio astronomy and space programme line, focusing on instrumentation for lunar and space missions. Her astrophysics research explores supernova remnants, cosmic rays, and low-frequency radio astronomy. She also coordinates TU/e's Honors Academy Radio Astronomy track and promotes entrepreneurship education through initiatives like the 'innovation Space Project.'
Academically, she holds a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Sydney, followed by postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and MIT. She previously served as a Senior Lecturer and First Year Astronomy Coordinator at Monash University, teaching astrophysics, astrobiology, and physics for engineers. Her educational innovations emphasize leadership development and challenge-based learning.
Her awards include the Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA, 2021).
