R. Prof. Ph.D. sc. Jasmin Halebić is a full-time Professor at the University of Zenica's Faculty of Economics in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He holds a PhD in Economic Sciences from the same institution, alongside a Master's from the University of Tehran and a Bachelor's from the National University of Iran. His academic roles include teaching core economics subjects like 'Economics of Enterprise,' 'Macroeconomics,' and 'Microeconomics.'
Research interests focus on macroeconomic policy analysis, institutional economics, public debt management, socio-economic impacts of gambling, and regional development challenges in post-conflict economies. Notable contributions include studies on GDP gap estimation, Okun's Law applications, and the role of migration networks in reducing foreign investment asymmetries.
