Jasmin Cooper

Jasmin Cooper is a Researcher at Imperial College London's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering. She joined Imperial in 2018 and has been affiliated with the Sustainable Gas Institute (SGI) - Methane and Sustainability through Life Cycle Approaches.

Jasmin's research focuses on life cycle assessment and modeling, life cycle costing, and multi-criteria decision analysis. Her work examines methane emissions, decarbonization pathways, carbon accounting in higher education, and sustainability through life cycle approaches, particularly in freight and energy systems.

Her current role involves continuing her research on life cycle sustainability analysis, building on her prior work analyzing shale gas extraction and utilization in the UK. She is part of the ZEN Freight project team, advancing environmental and economic impact assessments for sustainable transportation systems.
