Jasang Yoon

Jasang Yoon is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, affiliated with the College of Science and Mathematics. His research spans operator theory, matrix computations, and mathematical analysis.

• Research Interests: Matrix Computations and Theory, Multivariable Operator Theory, C*-algebra, Several Complex Variables, Classical Theory of Moments, Mathematics Education

Recent work focuses on spectral properties of operator pencils, Aluthge transforms, and matrix completion problems related to graph theory. His publications emphasize invariant subspaces, hyponormality, and subnormality of weighted shifts.
