Jarrett Mellenbruch

Jarrett Mellenbruch is an Assistant Professor of Sculpture whose practice intersects art, ecology, and interdisciplinary research. He specializes in public sculpture and socially engaged projects that integrate scientific inquiry.

Mellenbruch's research bridges artistic practice with ecological science, focusing on vector-borne diseases through collaborations with the Virtual Vector Laboratory and NIH-funded RII Track-2 FEC: Marshalling Diverse Big Data Streams to Understand Risk of Tick-borne Diseases in the Great Plains. His work emphasizes community engagement and data visualization in public spaces.
