Jared Pagett

Jared Pagett is a Tutor in the Department of Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, supporting students in Physics 6B through group sessions and drop-in tutoring. He is also a graduate student working with David Weld on Bose-Einstein condensates of Strontium in quasiperiodic optical lattices and the design of a new ultracold Potassium experiment using optical tweezers.

Education:

• B.S. in Physics, University of California, Santa Barbara (2018).

Research Interests: Jared’s work focuses on quantum dynamics of ultracold atoms in controlled environments, with applications in atomic physics and quantum simulation. His educational contributions include developing review materials and hosting study sessions to enhance student understanding of electromagnetism and optics.
