Jared A. Ellias is the Scott C. Collins Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. Previously, he held roles such as Visiting Associate Professor at Boston University School of Law and founding Faculty Director of the Center for Business Law at UC Hastings. He joined Harvard in 2022 after extensive academic and legal experience.

His research focuses on corporate bankruptcy law, governance of large firms, and empirical legal studies. Key themes include bankruptcy's impact on employees, regulatory frameworks, and financial markets.
