Prof. Janusz Gudowski is a Professor of Economics at the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and International Relations. He holds a habilitation in economics and has been active since 2000. Previously, he directed postgraduate studies for developing countries at the University of Warsaw and served as a consultant to Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His research focuses on economic adjustments in transitional economies (Egypt, Turkey, Yemen, Ukraine) and spans interdisciplinary collaborations with institutions like the Indian Agricultural Research Institute and Cairo’s Institute for National Planning.

Research interests include translation studies, linguistics, and pedagogy of Spanish language instruction. He has authored ~200 publications in economics and international relations. Current projects are partially funded by the European Union.
