Jannike Kaasbøll

Jannike Kaasbøll is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mental Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She leads the Youth and Mental Health research group at RKBU Midt-Norway, focusing on adolescent mental health, family relationships, and system interactions through applied, community-oriented research. Her work spans longitudinal studies, qualitative follow-ups, and evaluations of child welfare and health service interventions.

Recent scientific contributions include studies on sex differences in suicidal ideation, criminogenic risk assessment in non-secure settings, telehealth implementation barriers, and LGBTQ+ perspectives in child welfare. Her work bridges clinical, psychological, and social work disciplines, prioritizing community-based solutions and psychometrics.
