Janis Niessen is a guest doctoral student at Uppsala University, affiliated with the Department of Medicinal Chemistry; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry and the Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences; Translational Drug Discovery and Development.
Her research focuses on pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, and permeability assessment for PROTACs (targeted protein degradation compounds) and oral drug delivery systems. Current work includes mechanistic studies of intestinal absorption in rat models and analytical method development for pharmacokinetic evaluations.
