Janice Gullick is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Integration at the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery (University of Sydney). She holds roles as Coordinator of the Master of Intensive Care Nursing program and Director of the Postgraduate Advanced Studies. Her academic background includes a PhD in Sydney, alongside clinical expertise in critical care, cardiac nursing, and qualitative research methodologies.
Research interests span cardio-respiratory systems of care and Heideggerian phenomenology, focusing on patient-centered approaches and qualitative data analysis. Gullick leads international collaborations, including the International Collaboration of Nurse Scholars (ICoNS), and serves on editorial boards and policy networks.
Key achievements include awards for nursing research and clinical practice, such as the 2020 Runner Up Australian Critical Care Best Nursing Paper. She supervises PhD and master’s students and teaches across pre- and post-registration programs in acute care and research methodologies.
