Janice Christie is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing affiliated with the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work. Her research focuses on wound care, community/public health, and methodological approaches including mixed methods and Cochrane systematic reviews. She contributes to the 'Infection, immunity, inflammation and repair' and 'Population health and ecosystems' research themes at the faculty level. Teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate programs in research methodologies and leadership/management. Christie leads the Digital Health and Social Care Research Group (DHSCRG), exploring healthcare costs, home care optimization, and pandemic response strategies. She has supervised 2 student works and contributed datasets on wound care evidence mapping. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health equity and planetary protection.
